The City Council of Santiago del Teide announces that the application period for financial aid for the acquisition of textbooks and/or school supplies for the 2022/2023 academic year is open until June 9, addressed to students enrolled in the levels of Infant, Primary and Secondary Education of the municipality.
Students who meet the following circumstances may apply for the aid object of this call:
1.- Be registered and reside in the municipality of Santiago del Teide, with a minimum seniority of at least six months prior to the time of submitting the application.
2.- Be studying Infant, Primary or Compulsory Secondary Education in a public center based in the municipality of Santiago del Teide, in another adjoining one due to school transport.
3.- That the income level of the family unit to which they belong does not exceed the result of five hundred euros (€500.00), in accordance with the formula established for the granting of these aids in base number 6.
Regarding the amount of these, it will be recovered from the level of studies, if you belong to a large family, the aid will be increased by 10%
more If you belong to families in which one of its members is affected by a legally qualified disability equal to or greater than 33%, the aid is increased by a further 10%. If the two previous requirements (b and c) are met, the increases are cumulative.
