The deadline for submission of papers will end on October 1
The Santiago del Teide City Council has convened the "II Contest of Short Stories Against Gender Violence 2021" with which it seeks to sensitize the population against Gender Violence through the writing, subsequent reading and understanding of short stories, seeking to strengthen the values of respect and equality, so that together we can end this social scourge.
Any person residing in the municipality over 16 years of age may participate in said contest. Minors must present authorization granted by their father, mother or legal guardian.
The micro-stories, whose deadline for submission of works will end on October 1, must have gender violence as a theme in all its forms and may be real or fictitious stories; excluding all those stories that have sexist, xenophobic or offensive connotations against people or institutions.
Participation in the contest will be carried out by presenting an original and unpublished micro-story that has not been awarded in other contests or contests. The short story will be presented in a pdf file, it must be about the theme of the contest, it will be written in Spanish, it must be identified with a title and it will have a minimum of 100 words and a maximum of 300.
In addition, the following additional information must be attached to them on an additional sheet: name and surname of the author, date of birth, address, contact telephone number, photocopy of the DNI / NIE, title of the micro-story, email and signed authorization in case of being a minor.

AWARDS
The prizes to be awarded will be the following:
• 1st prize: € 500.00.
• 2nd prize: € 300.00.
• 3rd prize: € 200.00.
