The City Council of Santiago del Teide continues one more year with the PISMAR project (Project for the Social Insertion of Women in Rural Areas) which had such good results and, above all, great personal and group rewards in its first year of operation.

It is a project that has a duration of 4 months and that this year is being financed exclusively by the City Council of Santiago del Teide.

Its objective is to train women in different disciplines to favor their insertion in the social environment. In this sense, the participating women will receive empowerment and personal growth sessions 3 days a week and will carry out different workshops (agriculture, sewing,...)

The disciplines that are worked on refer to almost forgotten trades, so this project aims to make them known in an attempt to recover traditional trades.
