The city council announces the XXXVIII edition of the “Rincones de Santiago” Painting and Photography Contest
Until 11:59 p.m. on July 23, the works can be delivered
The City Council of the Historical Village of Santiago del Teide informs that until 11:59 p.m. on July 23, the deadline for submitting works for the "XXXVIII edition of the Rincones de Santiago Photography and Painting Contest" is open to that all people over 18 years of age, residing in the Canary Islands, can attend.
The topic should be about the "Corners of Santiago", understood as a representative sample of corners, picturesque landscapes, ethnography, etc., of the municipality of Santiago del Teide. The works will be original and unpublished and cannot have been previously presented in another contest or photographic contest, with the exclusive responsibility of the participant, as well as any claim regarding copyright.
Regarding the deadline for submitting works, this will be until 11:59 p.m., Sunday, July 23, while the jury's decision will be made on July 24 and its reading will take place on July 25, coinciding with the celebration. of the Patron Saint Festivities of Santiago del Teide.
For the "Painting" modality, the technique will be free and the work will have a minimum format of 50 cm high x 65 cm wide, highlighting that the prizes are the following:
FIRST PRIZE................................. 759.49 euros
SECOND PRIZE..........................300.00 euros
THIRD PRIZE............................... 150.00 euros
Regarding the "Photography" modality, they must be digital files in JPEG format, with dimensions of 40x60 and with a resolution of 300PPP. They may not exceed 4MB. They can be in color or black and white, and manipulation is permitted.
FIRST PRIZE............................... 300.00 euros
SECOND PRIZE........................... 200.00 euros
THIRD PRIZE.............................. 150.00 euros
