The City Council announces the winners of the VI edition of the Literary Contest "Lyrical Letters of Santiago"

The contest was attended by more than a hundred participants

The City Council of Santiago del Teide has announced the winners of the VI edition of the Literary Contest "Líricas de Santiago" coinciding with the end of the Patron Saint Festivities of the municipality.

Thus, in the "Story" category, the first prize, valued at 300 euros, went to María Soledad García Garrido with her work entitled "Los Viajes de Leopoldo Antípodas". The second prize, endowed with 150 euros, went to Alfonso Sergio Barragán Rincón with the work entitled "El Escritor" and, finally, Pilar Hernández Giménez won the Special Prize -valued at 200 euros- with her work "En una Noche de Winter".

Regarding the category of "Poetry", the prizes were the following: the first prize, with an amount of 300 euros, went to José María Guerrero with the poetry entitled "A la Guerra, Madre". The second prize, endowed with an amount of 150 euros, went to Juan Carlos Pérez Ferrer with the work entitled "A Santiago del Teide". The Special Prize, endowed with 200 euros, was deserted.

Finally, in the “LOA” modality, there was no presentation of works.
