The municipal OMIC helped recover more than €7,000 in your mediations during the past year 2024

This is clear from the annual report for the year 2024 carried out by said municipal office The Municipal Consumer Information Office (OMIC) of Santiago del Teide which is located on Avenida Marítima de Playa of La Arena has recently presented its annual report corresponding to the year 2024 in which it is stated that it has intervened in 102 mediations that have allowed users and users have been able to recover more than €7,000. On the other hand, the total number of queries made by the consumers in person at said office or by telephone was 30. The most frequent queries and complaints were from mechanical workshops, emails, online purchases, reservations online, DIY stores, technical services, airlines and that have increased considerably have been the companies of insurance, electricity, banking entities and telephone companies mobile, being the same 95% of the total of said claims.  The annual report also indicates that a total of 35 complaints that were forwarded to the competent bodies responsible for managing these complaints.
