The Mayor of Santiago del Teide, Emilio Navarro has signed, recently, the act of reconsideration with which the works of the future municipal funeral home in Tamaimo which will be located in the surroundings near the cemetery and whose construction responds to the need to have a facility from which to carry out the corresponding funeral services with maximum security, comfort, modernity and adapted to the new regulations.  To carry out this action, the City Council will allocate a 100% municipal investment close to 2.3 million euros in a building that will have a total constructed area of ​​,240.00 meters, which includes a garage which will have a favorably impact in the criteria of comfort and accessibility for all your users.  It should be noted that the aforementioned funeral home, which will be located on a triangular plot through a concrete structure armed and a metallic structure, it will contain, among many others spaces, of wake rooms - which will include their corresponding toilets and burial mound spaces-; coffee shop; kitchen; family rooms as well as toilets and changing rooms for women and men. Likewise, regarding the funeral services that will be offered, it is note that the new funeral home will include a refrigerator; A reception from which information will be given and good functionality will be promoted of space, as well as a chapel; all with the purpose of covering all user needs, comfort and well-being during the process.  Emilio Navarro, Mayor of Santiago del Teide, points out that " after solving a series of technical problems of the work that prevented its start earlier, the definitive start  occurs with which we are only going to comply with the requirements established by the new law mortuary but through this project we continue to influence in the search by the government group to have in the municipality of the best possible infrastructures that satisfy and meet the primary needs of our neighbours"
