The event took place last Saturday in the Plaza de Puerto de Santiago
A multitude of young people, and not so young, came to Puerto de Santiago on the night of last Saturday, July 9, to enjoy the artists who performed within the 2022 Youth Concert.
The night began with one of the local DJs who were in charge of livening up the atmosphere, giving way to the first featured artist, Nía Correia. Arriving from Lanzarote, Nía made the stage and the square vibrate with her spectacular voice, a voice that made her win the Operación Triunfo television contest in 2020. She performed versions of songs already well known to everyone, also her own songs, and even surprised with a song that had not yet been published.
The night continued with the stellar performance of Lérica, our country's revelation duo made up of Tony Mateo and Juan Carlos Arauzo, with 10 platinum records and one gold record that demonstrate their enormous musical career. These artists managed to have the public dancing and performing with them at all times, singing with them and moving everyone with their lyrics.
The final auction of this evening was put by the freestyler Sara Socas, the young woman from Tenerife who in 2021 became the first woman to ascend to the Freestyle Master Series (FMS), considered the most important league in Spain in this field. On this occasion, she was accompanied by Érika Dos Santos, a pioneer rapper of female freestyle and cockfights in Spain. The two together through their rhymes captivated the public in a spectacular way, improvising verses with the words proposed by the public randomly, without a doubt, these girls have an enormous talent.
