The municipality presents a new edition of the campaign "Agents of Change. Gender Equality" around 8M
Through it, the municipality will host numerous events and activities around the celebration of International Women's Day -March 8-
The Santiago del Teide City Council is organizing a new edition of the campaign “Agents of Change. Gender Equality 2023", which integrates into its programming various acts and activities that will be carried out on the occasion of the commemoration of International Women's Day, which is celebrated every March 8.
Thus, through the aforementioned initiative, the consistory intends to commemorate women's rights, the vindication of the fight for gender equality as well as the important role of women in history and our society.
In this sense, the programming will begin on March 2 at 6:00 p.m. at the Tamaimo Social Center with the representation of the theater play entitled "Viudas de Nadie" by the women participating in the workshop "Women Linked to the Theater" . On March 7, 21 and 28 from 5:00 p.m., the activity called "Barriguitas" will be held at the Puerto de Santiago Library, aimed at pregnant women from the third month of gestation.
