Antonio Martín and Anabel de la Rosa were the absolute winners in the queen event of the X edition of the Trail Run Almendros y Volcanes de Santiago del Teide valid for the KSeries Canarias 2022 circuit that took place this past Saturday, April 30, along the trails from the upper-middle part of the municipality.
The podium of the men's category of the 21km race was as follows: the athlete Antonio Martín finished in first place with a time of 1:43:27, which is a new record for the race, second place was Santiago Castellano with a time of 1:48:44 and in third place finished the local athlete Pedro Martín with a time of 1:52:10.
In the women's category, the podium was as follows: the athlete Anabel de la Rosa finished in first place with a time of 2:11:49, the second place was occupied by the local athlete Eva Guadalupe Arnedo with a time of 2:24:53 while that third place went to Valeria Donati with a time of 2:29:51.
As for the 14km race, the result was as follows: in the men's category, first place went to Román Sánchez with a time of 01:14:15, second place was occupied by Nauzet Guzmán with a time of 01:16:14 while that third place went to Milan Quandt with a time of 01:17:13.
Regarding the female category in the 14km race, first place went to Sandra Trujillo with a time of 01:28:51, second place went to Elena Rodríguez with a time of 01:40:00 while third place went to for Yure Hernández with a time of 01:47:32.
In the 7k race in the men's category, the first place went to Juan Manuel Rodríguez with a time of 40:51, the second place went to the local athlete Juan José Arganda with a time of 41:46 while the podium closed it. Daniel Sacramento with 41:59.
In the women's category of the 7km race, first place went to Eva María Ortega with a time of 46:37, local athlete Yahaira Afonso entered second place with 54:31 and Olga Fabiola Ojeda finished third with 54:43. .
Regarding the result of the local athletes who did the 21km race, the prizes went to Pedro Martín Saiz, Eduardo Mesa and Ángel Cristo Reverón in the male category, while in the female category the award went to Eva Arnedo.
