The deadline for submitting applications is August 2.
The City Council of Santiago del Teide has issued the call for grants to support the start-up and start of activity of those business projects -created as of July 28, 2021- that generate economic activity and jobs in the municipality, whose subsidized investment expenses are made in the period between January 1 and August 2 of this year.
For it, it has allocated an economic item amounting to about €45,000 and the deadline to apply for said aid ends on August 2. Through this call for aid, it is intended to promote the generation of economic activity in the municipality, trying to encourage the generation of new business activities that respond to the needs of society and that allow them to compete in the local productive fabric.
This call may be attended by natural or legal persons as well as communities of property that have initiated an economic activity during the period established in each selective process; that their location, as well as their fiscal and registered address, is in the municipality of Santiago del Teide and that they have made an initial investment for an amount equal to or greater than two thousand euros, which must be justified at the time of the request and that it deals with micro-companies that occupy a staff of less than 10 workers and that the turnover or assets do not exceed 2 million euros, among other requirements.
The aid to be granted by the City Council of Santiago del Teide will be up to a maximum of €3,000.00 with a cap of 50% of the eligible investment (minimum investment €2,000.00), in accordance with the provisions of base 4. The granting of this aid will be conditional on budget availability, prioritizing projects, provided they meet the requirements established in each call, according to the date of entry in the General Registry.
The total volume of the aid to be granted in the annual calls will not exceed the amount of the credits corresponding to the year in question, for which reason these will be granted until the existence of available credit is exhausted.
