The town of Las Manchas celebrates its festivities in honour of the Virgen del Pilar and Santo Domingo de Guzmán

 

They will take place from October 8 to 12 with events for all ages

 

The town of Las Manchas will celebrate from October 8 to 12 inclusive, its traditional festivals in honour of the Virgen del Pilar and Santo Domingo de Guzmán with a varied program of events aimed at the entire local population and visitors.

 

On October 8, 9 and 10, a triduum in honour of the Virgen del Pilar and Santo Domingo de Guzmán will be held at 5:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., respectively.

 

On Tuesday, October 11, from 6:00 a.m., flowering target in charge of the Fanfare of Santiago del Teide. Around 4:00 p.m., ludopark for children and 9:00 p.m. Holy Mass officiated by parish priest Víctor Manuel Fernández and sung by the La Diata Folkloric Group. Then, procession for the usual tour accompanied by the Music Band of Santiago del Teide and pyrotechnic exhibition. At its end, great verbena with the Arguayo Band and Tropin orchestras.

 

On Wednesday, October 12, at 12 noon Holy Mass officiated by the parish priest Víctor Manuel Fernández and sung by the Roots Group of Santiago del Teide. Then, procession for the usual route. Around 5:00 p.m., variety festival with performances by the comedian Maestro Florido and the Achaman group. At the end of ribs and potatoes for all attendees and performance of Fernandito El Mayúscula.
