The Mayor of Santiago del Teide, Emilio Navarro, has signed this morning, after the mandatory visit to the area where the works have been carried out, the receipt of the works to improve urbanization in the historic center of Arguayo in its phase 1.
The Mayor has been accompanied by different members of the government group as well as by director and members of the work and municipal technician.
This work, which had a total budget of more than € 1,276,000.00 after a modification of the same, was executed in a section of the old general highway, where the existing sections of sidewalks and curbs were demolished; the resurfacing and paving of the pedestrian zone; to the placement of steps in areas of specific access to houses that face; to the placement of bollards in specific sections; to the improvement of the rainwater sanitation network, public lighting, as well as the low voltage network and the telecommunications network, among others.
