Kimbo Vallejo and Sybille Bouchet are the overall winners of the 9th edition of the "Walls of Hell" Open Water Swim. In the 1.5 km race, the winners were Roberto Herrera and Claudia Borges, respectively.
Kimbo Vallejo and Sybille Bouchet were proclaimed the overall winners of the 6.5 km race in the men's and women's categories, respectively, while in the 1.5 km race, the overall male winner was Roberto Herrera and the overall female winner was Claudia Borges.
In the men's overall category, first place in the 6.5 km race went to Kimbo Vallejo with a time of 1:05:54, second place to Carlos Alberto Pérez with 1:06:59, and third place to Josep María Gotsens with 1:13:11. In the women's overall category, the winner of the 6.5 km race was Sybille Bouchet with a time of 1:18:26. Leire Romero finished second with 1:19:43, and María Hijar came in third with 1:20:27.
In the men's overall category for the 1.5 km race, Roberto Herrera was the winner with a time of 21:50. Diego García Montesdeoca came in second with 22:29, and Juan Manuel Señorano finished third with 22:58. In the women's 1.5 km race, Claudia Borges dominated with a time of 24:22. Elena Cinci finished second with 25:14, and Chloe Del Pino came in third with 25:25.
Regarding the local participants, José Carlos Sánchez took first place in the men's 6.5 km race with a time of 1:21:02. Víctor Lorenzo finished second with a time of 1:23:44, and Jeremy Seguier came in third with a time of 1:39:22. In the local women's 6.5 km race, Belén Socas was the first to cross the finish line with a time of 1:34:16, followed by Annick Vande Kerckove with a time of 1:43:47.
In the local men's 1.5 km race, José Carlos Sánchez finished first with a time of 25:11. Emilio Jesús del Barrio came in second with a time of 27:13, and Juan Miguel Padrón finished third with a time of 29:13. In the local women's 1.5 km race, Anastasija Rjabova took first place with a time of 25:26, followed by Bianka Posa in second with 27:16, and Alba Delgado in third with 34:58.
In the men's 1.5 km race for people with disabilities, Roberto Herrera came in first with a time of 21:50, Marcos Alonso in second with 25:12, and Texenen Rivero in third with 32:17. In the women's 1.5 km race, Beatriz Díaz finished first with a time of 41:52, and Jennifer Jane came in second with 43:19.
