It is aimed at students from 3rd to 6th grade and from 1st to 4th ESO of the different schools of the municipality
The #AyuntamientoSDT organises the IX edition of the "Líricas del Almendro 2022" Contest, integrated into the programming of the Almendros en Flor Campaign and whose deadline for presentation will end on March 10, at 2:00 p.m.; highlighting that it is aimed at students from 3rd to 6th of Primary and from 1st to 4th ESO
The theme should be about the "Almond Blossom", aiming to publicise it as part of our natural environment. In addition to this, the modality of the contest will be the "haiku", a poetic stanza originating from classical Japanese literature that aims to express in just 3 verses a brief, sincere and emerged feeling before the contemplation of nature.
The jury will be chaired by the Department of #EducaciónSDT, counting as members with qualified people and linked to the world of narrative and / or literature as well as with a secretary, who in this case will act as such the technique of the Department of Education; highlighting that the jury's judgement will take place on April 8, 2022 and in it 8 winners will be designated, grouped
- 3rd And 4th OF PRIMARY: TWO WINNERS.
- 5th And 6th GRADE: TWO WINNERS.
- 1st AND 2nd OF THE ESO: TWO WINNERS.
- 3rd And 4th OF THE ESO: TWO WINNERS.
In this way, two winners will be named for each cycle, emphasising that the total value of the prizes to be delivered will be €2,000.
Finally, it is worth mentioning that the winning haikus will become the property of the City Council of Santiago del Teide and can make free use of them; although once the contest is finished, the non-awarded haikus must be removed by the directors of the educational centres within a maximum period of 2 months, starting on May 26. After this period, the organisation will be exempt from all responsibility for unclaimed stories.
