The Santiago del Teide City Council has recently presented the schedule of events for the event "'Chinyero-112', through which it is intended to commemorate the eruption of the aforementioned volcano -which turns 112 this year- with a meticulous program of activities that will take place from Monday 15 to Sunday 21 November.

This program will begin this Monday, November 15 at 10:00 am with the inauguration of the Itinerant exhibition "Los Volcanes Salen a La Calle" that will take place at the Chinyero Visitor Center and which can be visited until November 19 . On the 16th, 17th and 18th of November, the talks of the educational project "The Canary Islands a volcanic window to the Atlantic" will be held during those days at the Chinyero Visitor Center from 7:00 p.m.

On November 18, at 12:00 hours, the Chinyero Interpretation Center will reopen. On Friday, November 19, starting at 8:30 p.m., the commemorative show of the Eruption of the Chinyero Volcano called "An Archipelago of Volcanoes" will be held at the Chinyero Visitor Center with the participation of Voces en La Distancia.

On Saturday, November 20, on the stage located at the Chinyero Visitor Center from 6:30 p.m., the Abubukaka company will perform with the show entitled "Empoverished Uranium". At 8:00 p.m., Vigil-Prayer at the feet of the Holy Christ of the Valley in memory of the eruption of the Chinyero volcano and in solidarity with the eruption of La Palma.

On Sunday, November 21 at 09:00, VI Route of the Volcanoes. At 10:30 am, Holy Mass in Thanksgiving in honor of Santa Ana for the 112th anniversary of the eruption of the Chinyero volcano. From 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. celebration in the Plaza de Santiago del Teide of the XXXIX Edition of the Handicraft Fair. Around 5:00 pm, closing of the Popular Fair of Santiago del Teide with a performance in the Plaza de Santiago del Teide by the group "Simbeque Project".
