The popular singer Bertín Osborne will close the Patron Saint festivities in honour of Santiago Apóstol de Santiago del Teide

It will perform on Tuesday, July 25, starting at 8:00 p.m. in Santiago del Teide Square with free admission

The popular singer and presenter Bertín Osborne will be in charge of closing on July 25, from 8:00 p.m. in the Plaza de Santiago del Teide and with free admission, the festivities in honour of Santiago Apóstol de Santiago del Teide that will have numerous festive and religious events.

The festivities begin tomorrow, Tuesday, July 19, with the official reception of the candidates for Queen of the Festivals in the Consistory Houses, where the departure draw will be held for the candidates, starting at 7:00 p.m. That same night, starting at 9:30 p.m., the movie "Small Foot" will be screened at the Summer Theatre. On Wednesday, July 20, we will also enjoy Summer Cinema with the screening of the film "Spiderman: Far from Home".

On Thursday, July 21, the day begins with the little ones as protagonists, since, from 11:00 a.m. there will be a children's playground in the square. This same day is the beginning of the Triduum in Honour of the Apostle Santiago, where, from 7:00 p.m., Holy Mass will be celebrated, presided over by Don Anatael Medina, offered by the Parish of Santa Ana. That same night, the Great Election Gala of the Children's Queen of the Festivities will take place in Honour of Santiago Apóstol, with the participation of the show "The House of the Forest" by Komba Producciones.

Celebrations continue on Friday, July 22, starting the day with the Children's Magic show, by the magician David de La Torre, the creator of Dreams, from 11:00 a.m. at the Grama Cultural Centre. Later, from 7:00 p.m., the celebration of Santa Isa will take place, presided over by Don Víctor Manuel Fernández, offered by the Parishes of the Holy Spirit and Ntra. Mrs. del Carmen. That same night the Great Election Gala of the Great Lady of the Feasts in Honour of Santiago Apóstol will take place, which will feature the humour of Jaime Marrero and the stellar performance of Azúcar Moreno. Gilberto Isande presents the event. Next, there will be a Great festival in charge of the Maraury Orchestra.

On Saturday, July 23, from 7:00 p.m., the Holy Mass will be celebrated, Chaired by Don Víctor Manuel Fernández, offered by the Parishes of Ntra. Mrs. de Candelaria and San Fernando Rey. Later, at 9:30 p.m. it will be the Great Election Gala of the Adult Queen of the Festivities in Honour of Santiago Apóstol, with the participation of the School of Music of Santiago del Teide, the humour of Kike Pérez and the stellar performance of Roko (Winner of the 2nd edition of the television phenomenon of "Your Face Sounds Like Me"). Laura Afonso presents the event. And then, great festival by the orchestras "The Boys Machine" and "Arguayan Band".

The Vespers of the Solemnity of the Apostle James arrive, on Sunday, July 24. From 10:00 a.m., it will be the Sunday celebration of Holy Mass, presided over by Don Víctor Manuel Fernández. At 10:30 a.m. pilgrims will arrive on the Camino de Santiago de la Ruta Jacobea Tinerfeña. From 11:00 a.m., at the Grama Cultural Centre there will be a puppet show by the Baruti company. At 12:00, celebration of Holy Mass presided over by Parish Priest Victor Manuel Fernández and blessing of the Pilgrims, sung by the group "Mesturao".

At 1:00 p.m., Sunday celebration of Holy Mass, presided over by Don Daniel Padilla Piñero. Later, at 7:00 p.m., it will be the second Bell Concert "Susana Torres". And, to end the day, at 9:00 p.m., the celebration of the Solemnity of the Apostle Santiago will take place, presided over by Don Alberto Hernández, parish priest of La Laguna, Todoque and Las Manchas, on the island of La Palma, and sung by the San Buenaventura Choir. Then, Procession through the usual places, accompanied by the Municipal Band of Santiago del Teide. Staging of the Dialogue between the Soldiers of the Castle and the Ship of the Patroness Our Lady of the Rosary and the Apostle Santiago. Upon arrival in the Parish, a video-maping commemorating the Jacobean Holy Year will be played. Next, verbena in charge of the orchestra "Young Project".

The festivities end with the celebration of the Solemnity of the Apostle Santiago. On Monday, July 25, at 11:30 a.m., the Municipal Board will be the departure from the Town Halls, accompanied by the municipal authorities, military, Reina Infantil, Reina Adulta and the Municipal Band of Santiago del Teide. At 12:00 p.m., the Solemnity of the Apostle Santiago will be celebrated, presided over by His Excellency and Rev. Mr. Bernardo Álvarez Afonso, where he will impart the Apostolic Blessing with Plenary Indulgence. Then, procession along the usual route, accompanied by the Municipal Band of Santiago del Teide, municipal authorities, civilians, military and faithful. At 5:00 p.m., the food offering, poetry, couplets and songs will take place. At 7:00 p.m., celebration of the Solemnity of the Apostle Santiago, presided over by Rev. Mr. Agalac Alonso Siverio, parish priest of Ntra. Mrs. de Campo and Santa Ursula Mártir, in Adeje and Episcopal Vicar of Southern Tenerife. Celebration that will be broadcast live on Radio María throughout Spain, and internationally on social networks.

At 8:00 p.m., it will be the reading of the minutes and awards ceremony of the XXXVI Edition of the Photography and Painting Contest "Rincones de Santiago 2022" and the VI edition of the contest "Lyric Letters of Santiago". Next, Bertín Osborne's ending and end of parties will be put on the stellar performance, who during his performance with free admission will review his more than 40 years in music.
