Santiago del Teide, example of loyalty as a tourist destination
Coinciding with the celebration of World Tourism Day, 4 couples were honored, some of whom have been staying in establishments in the municipality for more than 30 years.
Coinciding with World Tourism Day that was celebrated this past Friday, September 27, the Santiago del Teide City Council in collaboration with the hotels Barceló Santiago, Landmar Playa de La Arena, Landmar Costa Los Gigantes and Tui Blue Los Gigantes held a beautiful and emotional tribute to 4 couples as examples of tourist loyalty in our municipality.
In this sense, the honorees were:
* Mr. Bruno Thüring and Mrs. Sylvia Kretschmer, staying at the Barceló Santiago Hotel.
* Mr. Roger Jones and Mrs. Linda Jones, staying at the
TUI BLUE Los Gigantes Hotel.
* Mr. Simon Hornshaw and Mrs. Jean Hornshaw, staying at the Landmar Playa la Arena Hotel.
* Mr. Jordi Verges and Mrs. Maya González, staying at the Landmar Costa Los Gigantes Hotel.
The tribute was held in the 4 tourist establishments and was attended by the Councilor for Tourism, Luz Goretti Gorrín, along with the directors of the aforementioned hotels and members of their management.
