Santiago del Teide hosts a new edition of the training program for families "Educar en familia 2023"
It will have 4 sessions with which new tools and keys aimed at the proper functioning of the family nucleus will be addressed.
The Town Hall of the Historic Village of Santiago del Teide, together with the Ministry of Education, Universities, Culture and Sports of the Government of the Canary Islands, has launched a new edition of the training program for families "Educar en Familia 2023", which will be developed at the IES Tamaimo on February 1, 8 and 15, as well as on Wednesday March 29; all this through actions, of a formative nature, aimed at fathers and mothers of the municipality.
Regarding the themes that are going to be developed in them, whose duration will be 2 hours, -emphasizing that the participants who attend at least 3 workshops will be certified-, they have been chosen for the interest they arouse and their The main objective is to act as a space from which the school community has the opportunity to deepen their knowledge on the subject and thus be able to put into practice new tools and keys aimed at the proper functioning of the family nucleus.
In this way, the municipality will have 4 training sessions, based on current social problems and aspects and taught by experts in the field. In this sense, during the days 1, 8 and 15 of February -from 3:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. - the health psychologist Karla Chinea Jordán will give the session "Learning to feel: emotionally healthy families"; while on Wednesday, March 29, from 3:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m., the gender expert sociologist Patricia Ojeda will give the session "Prevention of addictions".
