The Mayor of Santiago del Teide, Emilio Navarro, signed this Wednesday, February 16, the act of initiation of the sanitation works and execution of scuppers in the transversal streets El Agua and Acebuche in Tamaimo.
For this purpose, the City Council will invest an amount close to €43,000 in order to correct the stagnation of rainwater that currently occurs in these streets.
The actions that are intended to be carried out and that have an execution period of 2 months will begin with the execution of asphalt pavement demolition works.
Excavations will then be carried out in trenches, which will subsequently house the PVC-U, DN 315mm, sewage pipe. All this, with the execution of two manholes.
In the same way, two scuppers will be built that will be located in the transversal streets El Agua and Acebuche and, finally, these affected areas will be paved again with two layers of asphalt.
