Until 11:59 p.m. of July 20 the works can be delivered

The City Council of the Historical Villa of Santiago del Teide communicates that, until 23:59 hrs. on July 20, the deadline for submitting the works for the "XXXVI edition of the Rincones de Santiago 2022 Photography and Painting Contest" is open, which can be attended by all those over 18 years of age, of any nationality and country of origin. 

The subject must deal with the "Rincones de Santiago", understood as a representative sample of corners, picturesque landscapes, ethnography, etc., of the municipality of Santiago del Teide. The works will be original and unpublished and may not have been previously presented in another contest or photographic contest, with the sole responsibility of the participant, as well as any copyright claim.

Regarding the deadline for the delivery of works, this will be until 23:59 hrs. on Wednesday, July 20, while the jury's decision will be made on July 22.

For the "Painting" modality, the technique will be free and the work will have a minimum format of 50 cm high x 65 cm wide, highlighting that the prizes are the following:

FIRST PRIZE.............................. 759.49 euros

SECOND PRIZE.............................. 300.00 euros

THIRD PRIZE...................... 150.00 euros

As for the "Photography" modality, the works will have a minimum resolution of 4mpixel, and will present a minimum format of 30 cm high x 40 cm wide. They can be in color or black and white, natural or manipulated.

FIRST PRIZE.............................. 300.00 euros

SECOND PRIZE.............................. 200.00 euros

THIRD PRIZE.............................. 150.00 euros

In the same way, a maximum of two works may be presented, of a single modality or a combination of both by each author, being presented as follows:

Fill in the personal data (escrow).

Attach an image/s of the work/s in JPG format with a weight of up to 5MB.

Complete the technical fields of the work, indicating in "Description" the place where the photograph was taken or the place that inspired the painting, which must be within the municipality of Santiago del Teide.

Finally, it should be noted that the jury will be chaired by the Councilor for Culture of the City Council of Santiago del Teide and will have as members people related and qualified in pictorial art and photography; although a technician from the Department of Culture will act as secretary of the jury.
