The Mayor, Emilio Navarro, welcomed the second group of local unemployed who will find employment this year 2022 thanks to a total annual investment from the City Council of around €300,000
The City Council of Santiago del Teide has hired 28 unemployed people from the municipality as of today, Wednesday, June 29, through the Extraordinary Social Employment Program 2022, which is financed by the City Council, the Service Canario de Empleo (FONDOS PIEC) and the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy.
This group of workers corresponds to the second phase of a total of 59 unemployed people who will find employment during the course of 2022. This program benefits from a total municipal investment of €300,000.
Emilio Navarro was accompanied at the presentation of the agreement by the First Deputy Mayor, Ibraim Forte, the Councilor for Employment, Krysten Martín, the Councilor for Works and Services, Guillermo Évora, and the Councilor for Social Services, Tania Cuadrado.
The professional categories of the 28 people employed are: 3 Aux. clerks, 1 Home Assistant, 5 Bricklayers, 9 construction laborers, 1 language clerk, 2 horticulture-gardening laborers, 6 agricultural laborers and a concierge.
