The City Council increases aid to the local primary sector to €70,000
The application period will be open until May 4th, and the grant amount will be up to a maximum of €3,500.
The Santiago del Teide City Council announces that the application period for aid for individuals and legal entities operating in the local primary sector, who meet the requirements specified in the regulations, will be open until May 4th.
These grants are intended to increase and promote the development of activities in the primary sector and support existing activity, providing and facilitating its optimal functioning for its continuity.
To this end, the City Council has allocated a budget of €70,000 (€10,000 more than the last call for applications), with each beneficiary receiving a minimum of €500 and a maximum of €3,500.
Natural or legal persons engaged in activities in the primary sector who meet the following general requirements may apply to this call for proposals:
- Be registered in the Municipal Register of Inhabitants of the municipality of Santiago del Teide for at least SIX MONTHS prior to the publication of these terms and conditions and carry out their activity in this municipality.
- Have the registered office of the entity in the municipality of Santiago del Teide (entity with legal personality).
- Beneficiaries must be up to date with their tax obligations, Social Security contributions, State and Regional Tax Authorities, and Municipal Treasury obligations, and not be subject to any of the circumstances stipulated in Article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Subsidies, for which purpose they must submit a sworn statement.
- Be registered for the Economic Activities Tax (IAE) and the respective special Social Security schemes.
- Applicants must have provided justification for any financial aid previously received from the Santiago del Teide Town Hall.
Investments aimed at improving business activity through the use of renewable energy (non-inventory assets) may be eligible for subsidies. These include investments that promote sustainability and energy efficiency, and that contribute to the advancement and growth of the business, such as the installation of water and energy saving systems (non-inventory assets), environmentally friendly practices in each sector, occupational risk prevention expenses, computer equipment (non-inventory assets), and a wide range of other expenses detailed in the regulations governing these subsidies.
