The City Council of Santiago del Teide is organizing a trip to the island of La Palma; assuming this is an activity motivated to enhance the tourism to contribute positively in the different economic sectors of the island recently affected by the eruption of the volcano; noting that said trip will take place from April 5 to 7. Those people who want to be participants in said trip may do so for the amount of 290 euros.  Therefore, it should be noted that this cost will include round trip flights with “resident” discount, 2 nights accommodation in a hotel with category of 4 stars, the service of a professional guide for the guided visits, the corresponding transfers by bus from Santiago del Teide to the Tenerife North airport and the return and, finally, the corresponding travel insurance.  In this sense, the people participating in the trip will be able to visit, during the first day, places as emblematic as the Mirador de San Bartolo, Los Tilos, Los Sauces, Barlovento, La Laguna -the largest water reservoir-, as well as the Viewpoint of La Tosca, Charco Azul and San Andrés.  Likewise, during the second day they will enjoy a visit to the Sanctuary of the Palm patron saint, as well as the Mirador de la Cumbrecita for, later, visit the Mirador de Tajuda to be able to see the volcano, although it will be a stop at Los Llanos de Aridane and you can see the entire valley affected by the rash. Finally, there will be a visit to the town of Tazacorte.  Finally, on the last day you can take a walk through the hull history of the capital, as well as a visit to Fuencaliente, where there will be a walk along the San Antonio Volcano -entrance not included-.  Later, you will go through the Teneguía lavas until you reach the lighthouse and the Salinas; where later they will move towards Jedey to approach the affected area and, finally, they will go to the airport.  Those who wish to obtain more information about it or who who wish to attend will have a maximum period to register until the 21st of March, by calling 922-86-31-27, Ext. 200 and/or 119.
