Santiago del Teide successfully hosted the Canary Islands championship "World Robot Olympiad 2024"

 

It was developed at the Pancracio Socas García Sports Complex and had competitors from different islands of the archipelago

 

Last Saturday, August 17, Santiago del Teide lived a most innovative and technological day with the celebration of the Canary Islands Championship "World Robot Olympiad", which took place at the Pancracio Socas García Sports Complex and that culminated with the following winning groups in their respective categories:

 

- "Elementary" category: The farmer team.

 

- "Junior" category: ZN57.

 

- Category "Robosport": Sirg 4Ever.

 

It is worth mentioning that this regional competition, in which young people between 6 and 19 years old participated, brought together competitors from different islands of the archipelago, who had several hours to build, program their robots and perform different tests, highlighting that the winning groups will face the national championship "WRO Spain".
