The public company Santiago del Teide Gestión S.L., a 100% municipal company, has recently approved its accounts at an ordinary General Meeting with a positive result of €88,286.55.
The president, Emilio Navarro, pointed out that "this is the second consecutive year with positive accounts, which is a true reflection of the great work carried out in the public company with the support of the City Council"
It should be noted that the work during this time has been constant, making improvements in the generality of the Pancracio Socas Sports Complex; as well as the start-up of the Cafeteria of said center, offering a complementary service highly demanded by users. All this in times of pandemic during which compliance with all Covid-19 protocols was carried out, with the safety of users being the highest priority in the provision of physical activity and health services.
Currently, work is being carried out to improve the facilities; led lighting, parquet flooring, security cameras, acquisition of new spinning bikes, fitness and cardio machinery.
Its president "congratulates the management carried out by the company in the sports complex and the municipal sports facilities, for the involvement of the workers".
Yeremi Curbelo, in charge of the Management Department, points out that "it has been a complicated year with the pandemic and these results reflect the achievement of the good work done and the effort that the city council makes, administratively and financially, towards the company. We will continue working on the line set by the president and I greatly appreciate the work done by all the staff".
