The City Council of Santiago del Teide is organizing a trip to La Palma. This activity wants to encourage tourism on the island, in order to promote consumption and economic development in the different sectors, after the eruption of the Cumbre Vieja volcano so catastrophically affected the residents of the Isla Bonita.
The trip will take place from May 27 to 29, a weekend, and will cost €295 for anyone who wants to attend. The indicated price includes round trip flights, half board accommodation (breakfast and dinner), three lunches, guide service for visits, transfer to the airport, transport service once at the destination, in addition to usual travel insurance. Personal expenses and supplements in individual rooms are excluded from the amount.
On the first day, a guided tour is scheduled, in which visitors will go to Santa Cruz de La Palma for breakfast before continuing their journey north, where they will pass the San Bartolo, Los Tilos and Los Sauces viewpoints. They will continue to Barlovento for lunch. Then they will visit the Lagoon, the tosca viewpoint and return to the hotel along the coast, to see the blue puddle and San Andrés.
On Saturday, the program includes visits to the sanctuary of the patron saint of Palma, to the viewpoint of La Cumbrecita, the viewpoint of Tajuda to see the volcano, they will also pass through the Llanos de Aridane, and will go up to see the entire valley affected by the eruption of Cumbre Vieja. After lunch you will pass through the town of Tazacorte and return to the hotel.
On the last day they will take a walk through the historic center of the capital, they will leave through Mazo towards Fuencaliente, where they will walk on the edge of the San Antonio volcano. They will go down the Teneguía lavas to the lighthouse and the salt flats. They will go up the Indians to have lunch, they will pass through the area affected by the volcano and from there they will be transferred to the airport to finish the trip.
