Diego Molina and Raquel Arostegui, absolute winners of the XXVII edition of the Santiago del Teide Swim Crossing

The local winners were Juan Alonso Aladro in the men's category and Dácil Hernández in the women's category.

Diego Molina and Raquel Arostegui were the absolute winners in the male and female categories of the XXVII edition of the Santiago del Teide Swimming Crossing that took place last Saturday over an approximate distance of 950 meters between the beach of La Arena and the beach of Port of Santiago.

In the men's category the podium was as follows: Diego Molina Lorenzo entered first place with a time of 14:12, second place was occupied by Karim Balli with 14:22 while third place went to Ricardo Hernández with 14:23.

 

In the female category, Raquel Arostegui finished first with a time of 16:17. Bárbara Scarpa entered after her with 16:18 and Irene Loizate finished in third place with 17:29.

As for local participation, the prizes went, in the male category, to Juan Alonso Aladro with a time of 15:37, second place went to José Carlos Sánchez with 17:55 and in third place came Emilio Jesús del Barrio with a time from 18:41 minutes.

As for the local women's category, the result was the following: Dácil Hernández finished in first place with a time of 18:56, Laura Díaz Perdomo finished in second place with 23:12 and Mara Álvarez Mahillo came in third place with a time of 25:02.

Also, other no less important categories entered the fray, such as functional diversity, in which Juan Carlos Mederos won in the men's category with a time of 20:54, Alexis Lucena came second with 22:15 and Texenen Rivero came third with 23.26. In the women's category, Sonia Ramos won with a time of 26:43, followed by Fermina Yaiza González with 35:58 and María Marta Rodríguez finished third with 38:09.

The Councilor for Sports, Juan Carlos González, and the Councilor for Commerce, Germán Jiménez, were present at the trophy presentation.
