The city council announces the prizes of the XXVII “Almond Blossom” Photography Contest 2024
The XVII “Almond Blossom” Photography Contest 2024 already has its winners who were recently named at the Fisherman's Museum of Puerto de Santiago where all the photographs that had passed the first cut and were therefore eligible for the awards.
In this current edition, there have been three categories in contention: night photography mode, creative and conceptual photography mode, and macro photography mode.
In this sense, the jury appointed for this purpose determined the following result:
NIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY MODE
The first prize, valued at €300, went to Ilia Smirnov with the work titled “Final”. The second prize, valued at €200, went to Marisa Antoci with her work "Irradiando en la noche". The third prize, valued at €150, went to Jesús Nicolás Martín Luis with "Lágrimas de Orión”.
CREATIVE AND CONCEPTUAL PHOTOGRAPHY MODE
The first prize, valued at €300, went to Gustavo Adolfo Tavío Magdaleno with his work titled “Looking for the light”. The second prize, valued at €200, went to Francisco Javier García Lima with “Sol de almendro”. The third prize, valued at €150, went to María José Vadillo García with her work “Tamasma”

First prize, valued at €300, for Cristina Hernández Díaz with the photo titled “Looking for the light.” The second prize, valued at €200, went to Iván Laltrelli with “Elixir” while the third prize, valued at €150, went to María Fuerte Armas with the work “Alma blanca”.
