Héctor Hernández and Candelaria Lorenzo absolute winners of the VIII edition of the “Murallas del Infierno” Swimming Crossing 

In the 1.5 km modality, the winners were the local swimmer Juan Alonso and Leire Romero

Héctor Hernández and Candelaria Lorenzo were proclaimed absolute winners of the 6.5 km journey in the men's and women's categories, while in the 1.5 km journey the absolute winner for men was Juan Alonso and in the women's category Leire Romero.

In the general men's category, first place in the 6.5 km distance went to Héctor Hernández with a time of 1:20:38, second was Enrique Catena with 1:22:30 and third Endika Pradera with 1:24:28. In the general female category, the winner was Candelaria Lorenzo with a time of 1:29:48, Azahara Martínez finished second with 1:33:17 and Victoria Sánchez came in third place with 1:34:40. 

As for the general men's category in the 1.5 km test, the winner was the local swimmer Juan Alonso with a time of 24:11, in second place Endika Pradera with 24:34 while Valerio Chinea came in third place with a time of 24:36. In women, swimmer Leire Romero dominated the 1.5 km test with a time of 27:36, swimmer Cristina Boti finished in second place with a time of 29:04 and Lorena Trujillo finished in third place with 29:04.

As for the local participants, it should be noted that the first male place in the 6.5 km distance went to José Carlos Sánchez with a time of 1:41:49, in second place, Jonay Rivero finished with a time of 1:42: 28 while José María Teixidó finished in third place with 1:51:28. In the local women's category of 6.5, the first swimmer to cross the finish line was Annick Vande Kerckhove with 1:50:37 and Belén Socas entered second with a time of 1:53:16.

In the local men's 1.5 km race, Juan Alonso came in first place with a time of 24:11. Second was Francisco Jiménez with a time of 29:49 and third was Víctor Manuel Lorenzo with 32:39. In the local women's 1.5 km category, the first swimmer was Mara Álvarez with 37:50, second was Ekaterina Sapronova with 37:53 while third was Elena Salvador with 38:03.

Regarding the functional diversity category in the 1.5 km modality, first place for men went to Roberto Herrera with 27:47, second came Juan Carlos Mederos with 32:14 and third was Texenen Rivero with 35:27. In the female category, Jana Vaskova entered first with 30:49, Sonia Ramos finished second with 39:55 and Beatriz Díaz third with 44:19.

Present at the trophy presentation were the Councilor for Sports, Juan Carlos González, the Councilor for Tourism, Luz Goretti Gorrín and the Councilor for Works and Services, Alexandra León.
