The city council opens until September 18 the deadline for social aid destined to pay the IBI bill

Residents who can prove they are pensioners, long-term unemployed, people with dependent family members with disabilities and victims of gender violence may attend this call.

The Santiago del Teide City Council has approved the granting of social and individual aid on a free-ride basis to residents who can prove they are pensioners, long-term unemployed, people with dependent family members with disabilities or victims of domestic violence. gender, to collaborate on their habitual residence expenses related to the payment of the IBI; a call for subsidies for which the council has allocated a budget item amounting to 30,000 euros. 

At the City Council we are aware of the situation that many families in the municipality are going through, hence the purpose of the aforementioned subsidy is intended to reduce the economic difficulties that the most vulnerable population groups in Santiago del Teide and those families who lack or they have limited resources to cope with day-to-day life and pay their taxes. 

The deadline for submitting applications will end on September 18 and the requirements to receive the aforementioned benefit are as follows: 

 * That the beneficiary is registered and resides in the municipal area of ​​the Historical Village of Santiago del Teide, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in the home for which the subsidy was requested. 

* That belongs to any of the groups mentioned above. 

* Who is the owner, usufructuary or holder of a surface right over the home where he usually resides, which must be located in the municipal area. 

*That the total income of the family unit does not exceed the limits indicated in the bases of the call. 

The amount to be received by each beneficiary will be equivalent to 90% of the IBI receipt fee for the corresponding year.
