Germán González and Guada Arnedo absolute winners of the 21km test of the 12th edition of the Trail Run Almendros y Volcanes

 

In the 14km test the absolute winners were Ramses Rodríguez and Mary Díaz while in the 7km test the winners were the local runner Javier Amaro and Bárbara Maag

 

 

Germán González and the local runner Guada Arnedo were the absolute winners of the 21km queen test of the 12th edition of the Almendros y Volcanes Trail Run of Santiago del Teide, which was valid for the KSeries Canarias circuit and which took place this Sunday, the 21st of April along the trails of the upper-middle part of the municipality with departure and arrival in the Abelardo González de Tamaimo square.

The podium for the men's category of the 21km race was as follows: in first place, Germán González finished, second place went to Jacob Medina while Abián Mesa finished in third place.

In the women's category the podium was as follows: local athlete Guada Arnedo finished first, followed by Mireyma Díaz and Silvia Luis.  As for the 14km race, the result was the following: in the men's category, first place went to Ramses Rodríguez, second place went to Daniel Sacramento while third place went to Carlos Rodríguez. As for the women's category in the 14km race, first place went to Mary Díaz, second place went to Leticia Báez and third place went to Leoncia Torres.

In the 7k race in the men's category, first place went to local athlete Javier Amaro followed by Pablo Matías and Ángel Rubén Luis. In the women's category of the 7km race, first place went to Bárbara Maag, Isabella Morales came in second place and Candy Rodríguez finished third.

Regarding the results of the local athletes who did the 21km race, the prizes went to Saulo Gorrín in the men's category, followed by Eduardo Mesa and in third place Fran Hernández, while in the women's category the prize went to Guada Arnedo. In the 14 km race, the local men's podium was made up of Emilio Jesús del Barrio, followed by Damián Rodríguez and third place Daniel Medina, while the women's podium went to Yéssica Expósito, followed by Fernanda Arnedo and in third place came Estefani Pérez.

In the 7km race the men's podium went to Javier Amaro followed by David Idafe Méndez and Juanjo Gil while in women Marta Szep finished first, followed by Antonia González and third Carmen Mansito.

The Councilor for Sports, Juan Carlos González, the Councilor for Culture, David Quintero and the Councilor for the Interior, Noelia Beatriz González, were present at the trophy presentation.
