They begin in Tamaimo Festivities in Honor of Santa Ana 2024 They will take place from July 25 to 28 with a extensive program of events aimed at all audiences The town of Tamaimo prepares for the imminent celebration of its Festivities in Honor of Santa Ana that will take place from Thursday July 26 to Sunday, July 28, with an extensive program of liturgical acts and recreational activities for all ages. Thus, this celebration will begin on Thursday, July 25, from at 7:00 a.m. with the traditional ringing of bells and rain of flyers announcing the start of the festivities. Subsequently, the streets of the town will host a parade by the Fanfare Santiago del Teide. Starting at 10:00 a.m. the arrival of the Radio Curbelo teams, which will liven up the festivities. At 9:30 p.m., the Holy Mass will begin in honor of Saint Ana, officiated by the Parish Priest D. Julián Azcárate and sung by the Roots Group of Santiago del Teide. Next, procession of the venerated image with the Virgin of La Paz and San Joaquín accompanied by the Municipal Band of Santiago del Teide, authorities and faithful along the usual route, which will include also with a pyrotechnic exhibition by Hermanos Toste from Los Realejos. Finally, starting at 11:00 enjoy a Great Verbena that will be led by the Nueva Ilusión Orchestra and Grupo Gomeray.
On Friday, July 26, for its part, the big day of the patron saint will be celebrated, and it will do so starting at 12:00 p.m. with the beginning of the Holy Mass officiated by Mr. Julián Azcárate and sung by the group Vocal Cantares , highlighting that, next, the procession of the venerated image of Santa Ana will take place, accompanied by the Municipal Band of Santiago del Teide and Banda San José de San Juan de La Rambla, authorities and faithful, highlighting that, during the course of Javier Linares will sing the Ave María accompanied on the piano by Diego Expósito. Upon arrival at the square, a musical performance with Dulce Barrios and the Piano Samuel Acosta. At 9:00 p.m. the Gran Gala de Santa Ana 2024 will begin, which will feature the stellar performances of: Sandra Santana, the magic of the great Jorge Blass and the stellar performance of María del Monte. At the end, attendees will be able to enjoy a festival by Grupo La Calle and Orquesta Guaracha.
On Saturday, July 27, at 10:00 a.m., the little ones in town will have a very fun day in Plaza Abelardo González with bouncy castles and water attractions. Around 11:00 a.m., the traditional party gathering will be held in the different establishments of the municipality. At 6:00 p.m., Great Children's Festival with performances by the Superhero Show, hifi stopover and performance by the Guepardos Azules dance group. Around 11:00 p.m., Gran Noche Latina with performances by Orquesta Sabrosa, Edwin Rivera, Orquesta Maquinaria Band and Orquesta Maraury.
On Sunday, July 28, starting at 10:30 a.m., celebration of the Holy Mass. At 6:30 p.m., Great Festival End of Fiestas where a tribute will be paid to the presidents of the Santa Ana festivities of the last 20 years and where the Tayme Group, musical group Son 21, will perform. This will be followed by a performance by Rafa Oliveros and Latin Ensemble and paella for all attendees.
